This May, Kristiana graduated from the University of Miami with two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Health Sector Management and Policy. She attended UM through the full-ride Stamps Scholarship. Kristiana graduated summa cum laude as the Most Outstanding Senior in both the School of Nursing & Health Studies and the Miami Business School.

During college, Kristiana interned with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the White House Domestic Policy Council, and the Senate Finance Committee, where she subsequently took time off school to work as a health policy staffer. Kristiana was also honored to receive the nationally prestigious Truman Scholarship in recognition of her commitment to a career in public service; she was UM's first Truman Scholar in 33 years. Next year, Kristiana will work in Chicago as the Health & Human Services Policy Dunn Fellow for the State of Illinois.
