I have a NEC MobilePro 780 that I bought used a few years ago to help with my writing efforts in National Novel Writing Month. You can read these Epinions reviews of the device. I wish that there were some affordable modern hpc's... it is a great form factor.

MobilePro 900c

[04/20/07] I bought a used MobilePro 900c this week off of Ebay. There is an active community (hpcfactor). cmonex created a custom MobilePro 900 ROM (see her NEC MobilePro 900 and 900c support site). Looks like the MobilePro 900c has limited support for the Windows CE 3.00 vim CE program.
